Sustainable Solutions for Biogas Production: NRVA Biogas
Inrigo plays a key role in the development of NRVA Biogas’s facility at Krogstad. The plant will process sewage sludge from over 350,000 residents and contribute to increased production of renewable energy.
Sustainable Solutions for Biogas Production: NRVA Biogas
Thermal hydrolysis is used in the production of biogas, a process that accelerates the breakdown of organic material. The sludge treatment plant will be commissioned in 2025 and will initially produce biogas for electricity generation. An upgrading facility for LBG (liquefied biogas) is scheduled to be operational in 2027.
The biofertilizer generated in the process will replace artificial fertilizers in agriculture and promote sustainable farming.
Inrigo and the Danish company Aquagain are supplying quality-assured design, production, and process equipment for the facility. The delivery includes, among other things, sludge pumping systems, digesters, chemical dosing, gas storage, and gas treatment. With an experienced project organization and efficient execution, Inrigo contributes to a cost-effective and reliable solution for biogas production
