We are about to embark on our largest project to date—an innovative drinking water treatment plant for Douala, Cameroon, which will provide clean water for 4.2 million people. With expertise from NTNU and SINTEF, we have secured a prestigious contract worth 875 million NOK, and we need you to help bring this vital project to life. Technical Procurement Spesialist

We are growing and need to strengthen our team with a Technical Procurement Spesialist. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Purchasing for stock and projects
  • Supplier communication
  • Assessing equipment suitability, including reviewing received offers and verifying equipment lists against flow diagrams (P&ID)
  • Providing professional advice, executing, and following up on existing procurements
  • Monitoring deliveries in terms of time and transport
  • Leading and participating in projects/tenders related to price inquiries, etc.
  • Negotiations
  • Documenting equipment and deliveries
  • Contributing to the further development of internal work processes, systems, and procedures

We are looking for someone with a technical background and some hands-on experience in procurement, preferably with an education in economics as well. We seek a practical, eager-to-learn individual who can quickly grasp the technical challenges our projects may present. You are fluent in both written and spoken Norwegian and English. You should be motivated to help develop the buyer role and contribute to strengthening this function within our organization.
